Spend the day learning how to paint en plein air with local artist and art educator, Shara Wertz.

Shara was encouraged to explore the arts from an early age and has worked with a wide variety of media, including oil paint, watercolor, clay, pastels, and more. Recent works have focused on en plein air painting (landscape painted on location) and figurative drawings and paintings. She has exhibited works of art at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Charles H. Taylor Center, The Hermitage, and Gallery 21. Shara teaches a variety of high school art courses and levels, including Drawing and Painting, Crafts, and AP 2-D Art.
